Topkapi Museum, silver case (Istanbul)
Technically this could be under “Malaysia” since it was issued in conjunction with the 1990 World of Islamic Civilization Expo there. Two cards are available, each mailed in Malaysia in 1991. One has a Perak stamp and a rare double postmark from two different cities (Grade: 2, $6). The other has a Pulau Pinang stamp (Grade: 1, $4). Caption says this card portrays “Silver case containing sand sample from the grave of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Topkapi Museum, Istanbul.” One perforated edge on each card. -

Turkish item on Malaysian card commemorating World of Islamic Civilization Expo 1990 in Malaysia. Mailed in 1991, with stamp and full postmark. Card has one perforated edge. Grade: 2

Tutankhamun couch, Egyptian Museum
This couch of King Tut represents Goddess Hathor 18th Dynasty and is in the Egyptian Museum. But the card is not that old. It was mailed in 1976, and while the senders were in Cairo, they had to use a mail pouch service so it has a USA stamp and postmark. Serrated edges, and some postal markings on the front. Grade: 4
