When folded, this connected series of seven pages–that fold out accordion-style–combine a schedule for this dance festival, pop-out paper dancers, all sorts of things. Each page is the size and consistency of a postcard but cannot be mailed as one. It’s really nice, anyway. Grade: 1

This restorative tonic was a big thing back then. While the poster was from 1928 (and not to be confused with the similar 1927 poster we also have), the five unused cards we have are 50 or 60 years newer. Even advertising can be turned into attractive postcards. Grades: 1

Still shot from the 1920s movie, “Almost Human.” Card dates from 1981 and was mailed in 1983 with a 28-cent Blanche Scott airmail stamp but only partial postmark. Grade: 2

Kerry Vesper, Wall sculpture
Unused card of a sculpture that Kerry has called “Clefs,” made from Baltic Birch and Bubinga. Bubinga? An exotic wood, also known as African rosewood, and used–among others–in making guitars. We vouch for Kerry’s work. Grade: 1

The card for HKAC’s 30th Anniversary Exhibition in 2008 was mailed through Hongkong Post’s bulk mail service and has the postage pre-printed in English on the reverse. Grade: 1

This 4.9″ x 6.5″ card was dated 1995 and also mailed in 1995 from San Diego with a 50-cent Nimitz stamp, a return address sticker affixed, and full but faint postmark under a red air mail rubber stamp. Small stain on lower front margin, and orange postal bar coding on the front too. Quite a busy little card. Grade: 4
